Sanders - Company History

Mark E. Sanders is the President and CEO of the Sanders Companies. A life-long Indiana resident, Mark currently lives in Zionsville, Indiana.

Mark has been in the construction industry since 1970.  After six years of hard work and determination, he created Sanders Building & Contracting Co., Inc. Innovation and leadership allowed Mark to develop other ventures in commercial and residential foundations, as well as property development.  In 1985, as the company continued to grow, acreage was bought in Whitestown, Indiana for a new office and shop facilities. These were expanded in 1991, 1995 and again in 1999.

Currently the Sanders Companies employ over 150 people. Mark’s vision for growth continues as he sees unlimited potential in all areas of business.  As opportunities are presented, each is evaluated and if it passes Mark’s test for potential, the new opportunity becomes an important component of the Sanders Companies.
